Live TV
- Access right generated by the Headend
- Rights reception cycle defined by the content service provider (monthly, weekly, etc.)

Access conditions

Free scrambling
- Program scrambled
- User only needs to be activated to descramble the content

Service suspension or invalidation
- Operator can suspend a STB/a LCO until he re-activates it
LCO "Partitioning" mechanism
- MSO can:
- Manage the STB attribution (to which LCO)
- Know, at any time, the number of subscribers
- Create the TV offers: A la carte, Bundle of channels etc.
- Block a whole LCO subscribers group
- The LCO can:
- Give a fast access to its customers to the TV service.
- Manage its customer subscriptions (initiate, renew, stop, upgrade, down-shift)
Advanced features
- Finger Printing: over/covert, UA display settings (color, background, etc.)
- Messaging
- Text messaging beyond 200 characters (any languages)
- Operator sends a message from the head-end to one, a group or all subscribers (in case of emergency, etc...)
