RTVI (previously known as NTV International) was launched in 1997 by the Media Most Group of companies-Russia’s first and only independent media conglomerate.

The main objective of RTVI, then and now, is to create a global television network that would offer Russian-Speaking people throughout the world an independent source of information and entertainment programming in their native language. This has been successfully accomplished by offering round-the-clock, international, non-governmental broadcasts of acclaimed programming that is specifically tailored to meet the tastes and preferences of the Russian of the Russian-speaking population living in the U.S., Europe, and Israel and Australia.

RTVi is the largest international broadcaster, broadcasting in Russian. It is available in dozens of countries on five continents - everywhere spoken and understood in Russian, from the Baltic to the U.S. and Canada, from Israel to Australia and New Zealand.
