An audience measurement service was implemented during the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (CAF 2012)

A live service pilot has been deployed during the Cup with several controlled peers in the network to achieve fast and accurate results. Each of these controlled peers made its own audience measurement, and periodically sent its results to a master server in charge of measurement consolidation.
