Software architect

Viaccess-Orca (VO) - a global, medium size company which is subsidiary of the global Orange-Group, is looking for an Architect to lead, as part of a team, the definition and rollout of VO’s next generation platform which will be used to offer services in different cloud offers for wide variety of customers in the video content operations market. The role will include close work with product and being opinioned and passionate about driving the platform and its services in an ever changing market. At the same time the work will include driving the development in the R&D in all levels and taking end-to-end responsibility for the delivery and operations.


• 5 years of development and coding in different coding languages, preferred Java.

• 3 years as Team-Lead/System-Architect.

• 2 years’ experience working in one of the large cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) . • Experience with large scale Micro services architecture.

• Experience with technologies that leverage micro-services architecture such as SpringBoot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Experience with DevOps related challenges and tools and processes that address those.

• CI/CD experience in all levels (TDD methodology, Jenkins as tool, stability and reliability testing etc.).

• Modeling for scale using NoSQL databases MongoDB/Cassandra – an advantage.

• Designing for performance from day one while using technologies like Redis - an advantage.

• Experience in modeling problems using search-engines like Elasticsearch - an advantage .


• B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent .

• Strong problem solving capability while pushing for simplicity.

• Self-learning skills in technology level including driving its adoption in the organization based on business requirements.

Required Qualifications:

- Native English speaker – must!

- 5 to 8 years’ experience in Marketing Content in B2B Technology companies.

- BA/BS degree in Marketing or similar

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and be a people’s person!

- Experience creating digital and traditional content, growing a social audience
and creative copywriting.

- Very good knowledge in SEO, HTML, Marketing Automation Systems
(Hubspot), CRM (Salesforce), WordPress and other digital tools

- Curious

- Good relationship and communication skills - Autonomous

Experience must include:

Viaccess-Orca is seeking a business-oriented Product Manager to join the team in this exciting time in video entertainment, with new business models and innovative experiences emerging to drive and define the roadmap and execution of a global TV operators platform focusing on delivering the best customer experience. You will help lead the creation of the evolving TV service. You will have end-to-end product responsibility from strategic opportunity assessment to tactical road mapping and feature development. Working closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and designers, you will help define product requirements, implement product vision/plan and develop the end-to-end product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
You will be the driving force behind product innovation and feature development and shape the future of VO’s TV, web and mobile products.

  • Take full ownership of the product, drive the technical development, innovations and prioritize new features and enhancements to existing features
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to deliver a comprehensive, best-in-class customer experience and product portfolio that satisfies the current and future needs of our customers.
  • Conduct market research and engage with customers, prospects and partners to identify market needs and opportunities, you’ll interact with key business and technical stakeholders to gather detailed business and technical requirements in order to define key product performance indicators (KPIs), as well as release-specific success metrics
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products and contribute to the entire product life cycle from strategic planning through to the launch of the product

· Experience in Media & Entertainment industry, Telecommunications or Video Streaming– an advantage
