Technical customer support engineer

Viaccess Orca - a global, dynamic high-tech company and a subsidiary of the Orange Group, is looking for a TECHNICAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT ENGINEER to join the Customer Delivery team.


Within the Operations and Services, and reporting to Customer Delivery Department, the Technical Customer Support Engineer (TCSE):

· Provides all daily professional services through technical Customer support on any assistance and maintenance support for VO solutions in production

· Ensures E2E cases management including escalation to management ,Tier-4 support, and internal/External coordination & communication

· Is responsible for owned cases and the quality of the operational services

· Support operation services

· Maintain customer satisfaction with a high quality level of service.

· Represents the technical support activity on company-wide projects

Main activities

Provides Opening Hours & Non Opening Hours Technical Customer support coverage

· Provides Tier-1 and Tier-2 support to VO Customer’s or Partner’s solutions

· Work closely with all the Viaccess departments and teams (including engineering, project

· management, R&D, sales, legal, sales administration…) as required by support cases

· Ensure the E2E technical customer support case management according to service level agreements

· Meet key performance indicators objectives and do KPI follow-up reporting

· Ensure full transparency of cases using a CRM · Ensure good and regular feedback for opened cases to Customers (Phone, email, reports and meetings)

· KPI analysis and reporting toward customers

· Manage Technical Customer Support internal projects and tools

· Help the training team to define, validate and deliver the training course documentation

· Do technical training to VO or Customers

Job skills


· Practical knowledge in the following disciplines: o Network layers and mainly TCP/IP o SQL, Oracle basic administration o N-Tier architectures (redundancy, clustering, cache management) o Unix/Linux Operating systems , Shell scripts o Web and J2EE Application servers (apache, squid, jboss)

Software architect

Viaccess-Orca (VO) - a global, medium size company which is subsidiary of the global Orange-Group, is looking for an Architect to lead, as part of a team, the definition and rollout of VO’s next generation platform which will be used to offer services in different cloud offers for wide variety of customers in the video content operations market. The role will include close work with product and being opinioned and passionate about driving the platform and its services in an ever changing market. At the same time the work will include driving the development in the R&D in all levels and taking end-to-end responsibility for the delivery and operations.


• 5 years of development and coding in different coding languages, preferred Java.

• 3 years as Team-Lead/System-Architect.

• 2 years’ experience working in one of the large cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) . • Experience with large scale Micro services architecture.

• Experience with technologies that leverage micro-services architecture such as SpringBoot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Experience with DevOps related challenges and tools and processes that address those.

• CI/CD experience in all levels (TDD methodology, Jenkins as tool, stability and reliability testing etc.).

• Modeling for scale using NoSQL databases MongoDB/Cassandra – an advantage.

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist who can leverage and develop innovative machine learning, data and text mining technologies, for solving problems within a wide scope. The Data Scientist will work on highly complicated challenges in the TV industry. Take a significant part in the growth process of one of the fastest growing marketplaces, working with developers, analysts, product managers and business owners on growth opportunities and new ideas. Candidate should have a strong background and experience in machine learning pipeline going through business understanding, data exploration, feature engineering, model building, performance evaluation, testing, and production deployment.


· Build pragmatic, scalable, and statistically rigorous solutions to mission critical inferential and decision problems by leveraging or developing state of the art statistical and machine learning methodologies on top of TV's unparalleled data infrastructure

. · Apply excellent communication skills in order to develop cross-functional partnerships throughout the company and spread scientific best practices.

· Be able to work both independently and collaboratively with other scientists, engineers, designers, UX researchers, and product managers to accomplish complex tasks that deliver demonstrable value to the company.

· Think creatively, proactively, and futuristically to identify new opportunities within our long term roadmap for data-scientific contributions.

Minimum Qualification

· M.Sc. degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related fields with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

· Experience in machine learning, statistical analysis and deep learning.

· Proven record for successful implementation of translating business requirements into a technical solution.

· Experience with data analysis using tools such as R or Python, with packages such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, scikit-learn, tensorflow, tidyverse (dplyr, ggplot2, etc.) and in SQL/NoSQL databases

. · Ability to initiate and drive research projects to completion with minimal guidance.

· The ability to communicate scientific work in a clear and effective manner.

· Team player, ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.

· Spark and big data technologies experience – an advantage.
