we are looking for a Director of Back-End Software Architecture to lead the architectural definition of its next generation solution.

Essential Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development
  • Extensive experience as a senior architect
  • Experience with large scale Micro services architecture
  • Expert knowledge of any OOP language such as Java
  • Experience with NoSQL database such as Mongo DB/Cassandra/ElasticSearch
  • Technical proficiency in the scaling, security, and performance of enterprise applications
  • Sc. in computer science or equivalent.
  • Fluent English (verbal + written)

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with leading cloud computing platforms (AWS + GCP preferred) and/or cloud native tech
  • Experience with DevOps related processes, tools and infrastructures
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and managing other architects
  • Prior experience in moving from legacy monolith product to micro-service architecture
  • Agile/Scrum Experience

  • Being an analytical and creative thinker who can approach problems from a first-principles-based framework
  • Being an excellent communicator who can use compelling arguments to influence outcomes
  • Strong collaboration & communication/presentation skills incl. ability to present architecture aspects to both technical (e.g. auditors, customers etc.) and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work in a multi-national organization with remote teams
  • Curious and creative mind, passionate about technology
