Mathieu is the marketing director of security products at VO. He’s in charge of the Secure Player and VO Watermarking. In the past Mathieu worked as technical and integration leader, helping major European telecom operators deploy new software versions for their STBs.
His 15-year career in the multimedia industry and his strong technical understanding of the end-to-end video delivery has given him a 360° view of the video delivery market. Prior to joining VO he was the marketing manager of the Canadian subsidiary of SII group. He holds a master's degree in Information Technology from ESIR (École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Rennes).

After an engineer degree in Computer Science from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA, Rennes, France) in 2000, he joined the INRIA to do a Ph.D. about multimedia watermarking, defended in 2003. Then, he worked at Centrale Supélec Paris and as a security consultant at Capgemini, where he developed the content protection activity. Since 2006, he has worked at Orange Labs as a research engineer and contributed on content protection for IPTV. He was distinguished as Senior Security Expert. His main research interest is multimedia security, which involves competences in signal processing, information security, authentication, watermarking, etc. In 2013, he joins b<>com as Manager of the Trust & Security Lab and works on designing and improving tools to fight digital fraud.
