yes Satellite understood and embraced this challenge and launched ‘MyTV’, a personalized TV service that is accessed through yes STBs, powered by VO’s COMPASS content discovery and recommendations platform, which is part of VO’s Voyage - TV Everywhere solution.

In this new case study we present results and analysis of “MyTV” service based on COMPASS. For example:

  • 88% of yes’ customers have opted-in for the service, allowing MyTV and COMPASS to use their past and future usage habits to provide better recommendations.
  • In the personalized portal, 58% of the time, users have selected the option of personal VOD recommendations
  • 77% of the presented recommendations were relevant for viewers
