We are seeking a Senior Project Manager – Platform Modernisation to drive the transformation of our legacy platform into a resilient microservices architecture spanning on-premises, private-cloud, and hybrid environments. You will liaise directly with executive stakeholders, third-party vendors, and internal owners to ensure alignment on scope, risk mitigation, budget, and success criteria.

What You’ll Do

  • Roadmap & Planning: Develop and maintain the modernization roadmap with detailed timelines, resource allocations, and risk registers.
  • Project Tracking & Analysis: Leverage integrated real-time dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Jira Analytics) combined with predictive analytics to continuously monitor KPIs, such as schedule and budget variance, and forecast potential risks, enabling proactive mitigation and data-informed decision-making across stakeholders
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, clients, and vendors; facilitate steering-committee meetings and status updates.
  • Deployment Coordination: Coordinate between planning and execution for migrations and rollouts between project managers for involved customers
  • Risk Monitoring & Control – Emphasizes continuous oversight of project risks and test outcomes, plus the development and execution of rollback and run-book procedures.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ proven experience managing large-scale technical transformation projects (modernisation, migration).
  • Expert Jira skills: design custom workflows, boards, automation rules and analytics dashboards to drive visibility and on-time delivery.
  • Advanced data-analysis capability: extract and interpret delivery metrics (cycle time, earned value, defect leakage) using, Excel, Power BI or equivalent.
  • Mandatory Project-Management certification: PMP®, PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM® or equivalent.
  • Infrastructure expertise: hands-on experience orchestrating on-premises and private-cloud environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Helm, PV/PVC strategies)
  • Strong intercultural communication skills and proven ability to perform under both internal and customer pressure.
  • Language skills: English fluency (written & spoken); proficiency in French is a significant advantage
  • Flexibility to work occasional Fridays and travel up to ~20% for kick-offs, audits and go-lives.
